The Music Box (1932 movie)

The Music Box is a 1932 comedy short in which Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy attempt to move a piano to an upper floor of a building. It also stars Gladys Gale, Billy Gilbert, William Gillespie, Charlie Hall, Lilyan Irene and Sam Lufkin.

The film was written by H.M. Walker and directed by James Parrott.

It won the Academy Award for Short Film - Novelty. The film has been deemed "culturally significant" by the Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
