Metroid Prime isfirst-person adventure video game developed by Retro Studiesreleased by Nintendo2002 forGameCube console. Metroid II: ReturnSamus
Samus Aran returnsan all new adventureexterminateMetroids, now venturingtheir home planet, SR388. Instead oflong corridorsdoors you haveblast openyour regular gun, now you havedestroy Metroidsorderprogress tonext area.
In additionblasting Metroids, you also have new skills. The Space Jump allows Samusjump repeatedly inair. When combined withScrew Attack,can shred any enemies by flying into them. The jump can also be usedaccess other areas. Other new items includePlasma Beam, Spazer Laser andSpider Ball, which allows Samusclimb wallsstick on ceilings while inmaru-mari form (Morphing Ball).
Super Metroid
This isdirect sequelMetroid II: ReturnSamus. Ingame plot, Samus returns toPlanet ZebesdestroySpace Pirates beforeuselast living Metroid larvaaccomplish their plansgalactic domination.
With gameplay similar tolast game inseries, Super Metroid was one out ofmost popular gamesSNES whendebuted1994,it remains popular.
