Key frame

In animation,key frame isframean animated sequenceframes that was drawn or otherwise constructed directly byuser rather than generated automatically, e.g. by tweening.

In video compression,key frame or I frame isframe encoded without referenceany imagesanother frame.

In non-linear digital video editing,key frame isframe usedindicatebeginning or end ofchange made tosignal. For instance,key frame could be setindicatepoint at which audio will have faded up or down tocertain level.
