Herb Kohl

Herbert H. "Herb" Kohl (born February 7, 1935) is the senior Senator of the state of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He was elected to the United States Senate in 1988. Senator Kohl currently serves on the Senate Appropiations Committee, the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the Senate Special Committee on Aging. He served as the Chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party between 1975 and 1977. He is considered to be a liberal.

Herb Kohl is also the founder and former owner of Kohl's Department and Grocery stores, the owner of the Milwaukee Bucks NBA team, and the President of Herbert Kohl Investments.

Herb Kohl served in the United States Army Reserves between 1958 and 1964.
