The Cranbrook Educational Community was founded in the early 20th century by George Booth, a newspaper mogul, consisting of Cranbrook Kingswood School, the Cranbrook Academy of Art, the Cranbrook Institute of Science, Crabnrook House and Gardens, and Christ Church Cranbrook.
